By GARY FIELDS

Bloomberg News April 3 - Epidemiologists say that even after countries contain their first outbreaks, the virus is likely to return in later waves, as the flu pandemic of 1918 did. A growing awareness that a sizable group of infected people show no symptoms at all and are likely to spread the virus to others undetected sparks concern that the epidemic will evade control for months to come.

Zoom Tips for Morning Prayer
from the Cathedral of the Incarnation

Picture
Friends,

Many of you have asked if I would share what we are learning as we use Zoom for prayer day by day at the cathedral. I hope the attached tips will be helpful to you.

It is still a work in progress.

I have also included a sample Morning Prayer bulletin from today. We are producing these bulletins daily and you are most welcome to use them in your own daily prayer groups. Let Michael Delaney know and he will send them along to you each day. mdelaney@incarnationgc.org

Please reach out to any of the cathedral clergy if you would like to consult further.

Peace on the Road,

Michael+

Message from the
Garden City Clergy Fellowship

Bishop Lawrence Provenzano is a signatory.

To all our congregants and friends in the community:
During this challenging and stressful time, we speak from different religious traditions, and yet with one united voice, as members of the same human family.

In our fight against the Coronavirus pandemic, we join with all of you in praying for health and strength, and protection from harm, as we go forward in navigating this uncharted territory together.  Though we must remain physically apart for the time being, we will continue to use the gifts of human creativity and ingenuity, as we remain in contact over the phone and online.

And, if it should become necessary, we will do what we can to provide tangible help, while remaining vigilant with regard to the cautions and restrictions as outlined by New York State and the Federal Government.

Prayer and hope know no bounds or limitations, and all that unites us is far greater than that which divides us.  We stand in solidarity with one another as clergy colleagues and friends.    Please continue to reach out to us, as we will reach out to you.  Together, we will get through this.

May all of us be blessed with health and strength, with love, and peace.

In friendship,

Garden City Clergy Fellowship Members
